You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation, review and filing of local statutory financial statements under European local GAAPs for multiple legal entities, ensuring alignment and reconciliation to US GAAP group reporting. The role is a key liaison between group consolidation, tax, legal, local advisors and external auditors.
Participate directly in accounting operations and month-end close activities conducted under US GAAPDeliver operational accounting support as part of a collaborative finance teamPrepare and distribute regular daily and monthly reports while supporting the General Accounting team as neededManage month-end close tasks, including detailed general ledger reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and SOX control documentationMaintain ongoing communication with vendors and customers in relation to fixed asset–related accounting mattersSupport the identification and resolution of issues that could impact the quality or timeliness of month-end closings
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable fieldProfessional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)8-10 years of experience in AccountingExcellent command of both written and spoken English and SpanishExtensive experience in accounting and financial reporting within a multinational corporate environmentStrong working knowledge of US GAAP alongside at least one European local GAAP
